I’ve been reading a lot about the “Keto Diet” lately, or Ketogenesis. It seems to have agained a lot of traction over the years and may be worth considering. While at the Europa Games Expo I stumbled upon a new line of products from Kalifornia Keto. I’d been looking for ways to mix up my typical meal prep routine that I outline in this Intro to Meal Prep. Kalifornia Keto seemed to provide a unique solution I hadn’t considered before.

I took a bite of what looked like a cookie, and suprisingly enough it was very delicious and tasted like a cookie. They call this one their “Kookies” and are very easy to make.
Each Kookie has only 1g of Net Carbs, which is really the key for a ketogenic diet. I won’t get into the details of how many carbs (total or net) you should be consuming, but these are good. This label is from the Chocolate Chip Kookie:
Next up on their tasty lineup are the K-Bites. These are a no-bake version of the Kookies that you can easily mix together and enjoy. I’ll admit these are great when you don’t want to heat up the house during peak energy time. Or they’re great when you just want to enjoy a quick snack.
K-Bites Details:
- No bake mix
- 24 bites/12 servings
- 11 grams of fat
- 1 gram net carb
- No added sugar
- Easy and delicious
Again, these only have 1g of net carbs and make for a very keto-friendly snack choice. I suppose you could even try adding these or the Kookies into a Keto Ice Cream.
I took some of these home and shared them with my family. Watch the Kalifornia Keto Review Video on my YouTube channel for a demo on how easy they are to make.
I also post frequently on Instagram (@JBarkFit) with workout videos, nutrition, and motivation.
